| Introducing our Miniature Dachshunds is a joy! As with the lovely Yorkshires, Olympic Holly Hill has taken the greatest care to acquire our beautiful dogs. They have come from some of the finest Kennels in the nation, and have been chosen with the same Ethics that make Olympic Holly Hill what it is today. I have found Miniature Dachshunds to be one of the most fun loving, loyal and endearing breeds in existence. Though they are from many different places, one noticeable trait exists in each dog - temperament. No matter how distant their origin, each dog possesses the most wonderful outlook on life. Loving children, loyalty, and a real joy to have as companions - these dogs are exceptional in every aspect. We have gorgeous smooth and long coats. We specialize in Silver Dapple, Chocolate Dapple, Chocolate, Isabella, Black and Tan, and Red We do not breed "double dapples"-this creates a lethal gene that can produces blindness and deafness in puppies. Wonderful Champion bloodlines and excellent conformation - they are also carefully checked for health and absence of genetic problems to create as lovely an example of the breed possible.
